Mrs. Angela West
Principal

Mrs. West was born and raised in Indianapolis, Indiana. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from Ball State University in the area of Elementary Education. She has also earned her Master’s degree in the area of Curriculum and Development from Indiana Wesleyan University and her School Administration license in both elementary and secondary education from Indiana University.

She began her teaching career in the Indianapolis Public School (IPS) System where she taught for 8 years in elementary through middle school grades and served as an Instructional Coach and Assistant Principal.

After her years with IPS, she returned to the school district from which she graduated and began working in Washington Township Schools. There she was employed as an Assistant Principal for 5 years at Westlane Middle School. While at Westlane, Mrs. West received her certificate for completing the Indiana Principal Leadership Academy (ILPA).

She currently sits on the Advisory Board for the University of Phoenix, College of Education as well as a member of civic and educational organizations.

Mrs. West is the proud Principal of 21st Century Charter School. She has been with GEO Foundation for five years.
