Our Approach

At 21st Century Charter School @ Gary, we teach Kindergarten through high school and all roads lead to -- and through -- college. Whether in Kindergarten, fifth grade, or high school, our curriculum is designed with that goal in mind. We arm our students with the skills and tools they’ll need to not only receive a high school diploma, but also to excel at the collegiate level.

We use successful teaching methods and technology in an updated one-room schoolhouse environment. This promotes learning tailored to each individual student. Using this approach, our students advance academically, socially, and personally, sometimes at a surprising pace. Each student is an adult in training and when our teachers, staff and parents cooperate, great things happen.

21st Century Charter School @ Gary will make no excuses for their student population and will dedicate themselves to ensure that all students show growth in character, academics, life skills, the arts, and wellness using teaching skills tailored to meet the needs of each student.
